About Founderwright

Why Founderwright exists.

The work that creates value is a fraction of a CFO’s week. Founderwright pairs that judgment with a system that does the rest, so owners can build a company worth more.

A note from the founder

The part of a CFO’s job that creates value.

I have spent my career as an operating CFO inside growing companies.

The lesson surprised me. The work that created the value took a fraction of my week: setting the definitions, installing the cadence, making the pricing and capital calls. The rest was assembly: reconciling, building reports, chasing data.

Software and AI can now do most of that assembly. So the part that matters no longer has to cost a full-time executive.

I built Founderwright to put it in the hands of owners who are creating real value for their customers, their people, and themselves.

Why a wright

A wright builds what the job needs.

Two bicycle builders from Dayton found the published flight data was wrong, so they built their own wind tunnel. No one could sell them an engine light enough, so their shop mechanic built one in six weeks. Then they flew.

Founderwright works the same way: in your shop, to your spec, from your own numbers. Led by an operationally minded CFO, not a software vendor.

Start with your four measures.

One conversation about how the company runs. You leave with a one-page CUD.V diagnostic: where capacity, utilization, and discipline stand, the largest gap in dollars where the data allows, and the three moves to start with.
